AudioCodes-Initial Configuration HA Pair

Simple guide for initial configuration of AudioCodes SBC HA Pair

Cabling for both SBCs (optional/recommended):

GE_1 – Admin Interface – 1 Private IP

GE_2 – Teams SIP Interface – 1 Public IP with NAT to the SBC or direct public IP.

GE_3 – Telephony Provider SIP Interface – Telecom to advise how we will connect. 1 Public IP or Private IP depending on the SIP service architecture.

GE_4 – HA Interface (communication between the 2 SBCs on GE_4)

Page 14 is the guide to connect initially to the device.

Default AudioCodes IP: 192.168.0.2/24

1. 1.Make sure Device 2 is powered off and disconnected.
2. 2.Power On and connect the laptop to Device 1 on GE_1:
3. 3.Set IP of your laptop from subnet 192.168.0.0/24 (i.e. 192.168.0.5/24)
4. 4.Open a browser – and type 192.168.0.2
5. 5.Type the default UN/Password.
6. 6.Configure Device 1 – HA setup.
7. 7.Burn the configuration to flash without a reset
8. 8.Power Off Device 1.
9. 9.Repeat the same steps for the other SBC.
10. 10.Connect Device 1 GE_4 to Device 2 GE_4
11. 11.Power On both devices.
12. 12.Connect the laptop to Device 1 on GE_1. Access the web UI and make sure the HA configuration is active.
